Thank you for keeping us in contextual check. I did mean to use the word bloated though as the growth in student body has been somewhat unexpected and unusually large since there has been no enrollment push for this semester. However, you may not I have changed the word in the article to make it easier to read and understand.
I am sorry you feel the new site is such a low-level job. I do hope that when you choose to do better you will inform me personally of the URL so that I can enjoy your hard work and efforts.

Wow. Didn't know the new HG was so touchy.
I do like the formatting of the site and the presentation is more than acceptable. It does remind me of many of the larger media outlets, but thankfully without a meaningless ticker.
That said, the new site brings the most current posting to a prominent spot of the page. And whether that is a quick breaking news story or a quick blurb from the editor, the title is placed boldly on the main page. So, it made me wonder if titles including 'little bastards' , 'damn...', and a certain college football player is an 'idiot' could actually be coming out of the electronic pages of a professional journalistic enterprise.
But I still remember cutting and pasting with scissors and tape, so I must be out of touch. This may be the new journalism.
And frankly, an increase of 4.59% in enrollment (Gordon's numbers) while the overall state average enrollment increased 6.1% (Board of Regents numbers) does not make the Gordon student body seem much larger than what is warranted, to borrow from Merriam Webster.
But I only take offense because I read "bloated" to have a negative connotation and surely we love Gordon as one of the significant faces of our community.
