A good crowd was on hand for the Soap Game scrimmage August 7 at the new Trojan Field.

As I stated in my previous post Great job to the Trojans. I am looking forward to MANY years with coach Stricklan and MANY championships. Congratulations to the Middle School for beating the 9th grade team. Themiddle School looked REALLY good. The High School looked good as well, other than too much showboating, a few missed passes, and the offensive line missing a few blocks. I do see a better diciplined team un der Strickland. I also think they need a new announcer. He got too many names mixed wrong and gave A LOT of tackles to players that weren't even near the play. Come on.......

isnt hard to win when the trojans play against them selves lol.i wouldnt expect any championships any time soon tho, a new stadium doesnt make a team a winning team.i've said it before get them on a proper weight lifting program and diet to build bulk then they might have a chance.arent gonna win when most teams are twice they're size.

Question for you?

How many people come to the game and actually observe it in Lamar County? I know the ones running around and standing in the ailes aren't but what about the people who actually sit in the stands. I know most people watch the game but who actually observes it?

If you observed the game, then you would know that the program is about to do a major turnaround. It might not be this year but give 2 years and a region championship and state title run is in their grasp. I can say this b/c that middle school team has some players!! There will be some college football offers going out in 5 years from now.

i call it a dream thinking the team will make it much less win a championship. when ya have tooth picks playing against utility poles guess who's gonna win not the toothpicks.no amouint of coaching will make them winners unless they bulk up and get as big as the other teams doing all the pushing and winning.....

Don't you think the new coach knows that? He won state titles at Charlton Co. b/c he knows the weight room is where it all starts.

You keep dreaming but don't wake up in time for kickoff. I'm sure no one will not miss you being there when it happens. I doubt you even know where Charlton County is or who Champ Bailey is?

Wow! You're 21 years old. Well, since you weren't involved in any athletic competitions during your childhood then we can all assume you weren't on the academic team either. You should have payed a little more attention in your English class.
