Try driving on Potts Pond after it has rained-feels and looks like a washboard-is our road on the list to be paved-yes the SOL list.Has been on that list for close to 20 years.

Thomaston street definitely needs to be fixed, you literally have to play "dodge the holes" when you're driving. I have started taking Greenwood street because Thomaston street is so rough.

How will paving this road, while I am sure it is needed, going to stimulate the economy?

I'm not saying the idea will work, mind you, but the general idea seems to be that if the government pays for the road paving, then some road paving crew somewhere (as in Lamar) will be able to get and/or keep jobs.
