It never ceases to amaze me. Politicians are the ones who play the race card constantly. It seems to me that they would be more desireable as a candidate, no matter their race, if they would abridge that type of utterence, and deal with the real issues of an area.

The person should have the right qualifications,
they have ran a business (successfully)
and know how to balance
a check book.

You took the words right out of my mouth. Atlanta has had black leadership since 1974 and look at the state of the city now. I'm not saying that there can't be a good mayor who's black, just that there hasn't been. Shirley Franklin should have been run out of the country years ago. And that pot (sh**) stirring Cynthia McKenny with her.

Why does this even matter here? I only go to Atlanta for sports and entertainment and who the mayor is doesn't affect me at all. Who is the mayor now anyway?

shirley franklin. She is an idiot. Investigation was ongoing with her and her son or someone that had some type of cocaine issue. I think he was selling and she turned her head or something like that. Been a little while, i cant remember all the details.

why not! There was an issue and investigation. Why not bring it up just because i cant quote every peice of info on the situation. Bottom line is that there was an issue and she knew about it. PERIOD

Hopefully they won't lose. That way, that cesspool of a city can continue the death spiral it has been in since 1974.

The incorporation of Sandy Springs took all those rich white folk away from Atlanta's tax base. When Milton County is created, that will do the same to Fulton County, and things up there will get REALLY interesting to watch as my little cotton pickers try to run things without any tax base for money.

Civil War 2 is coming soon. It will be race based and make the first CW look like a warm summer day in comparison. Let it be soon before I get too old to play.

I usually stay away from any topic on race, unless it seems like it can be a fair exchange of ideas.
But this one?
Were the shoe on the other foot and had there been a memo referring to a white agenda,
Rev. Al and Rev. Jesse would have taken to the streets and the media would have blown the whole thing up into a circus.
Double standard.
