Animal Control was called to the home of Bob Taylor on Murphey Ave. in Barnesville this morning to pick up a stiff, dead deer that had been attacked at some point during the night.

bull butter folks have been crying about wild dogs and all the attacks on live stock and now your saying the killed a deer? right! you need to be worried about all the gansta-wanna-bes and white trash punks
brilliant idea! you know we could sit back in some lounge chairs, throw back a few, and turn them wild coon dogs loose. boy, it would be the best thing going up there tuesday.
Not real sure about either one of those but i think some one has to much time on their hands.I was wanting to know more about the white trash punks. What the hell is he talking about.
I have lived on Murphey Ave. for many years and have yet to see these wild dogs. Before Fred's moved in we did have a herd of deer(yes you heard right 15 to 20), but as time goes on we see them less and less. I have even seen one with a broken leg dangling as it ran, no doubt from an encounter with a car. I would suggest that a car hit the deer and killed it, then the dogs found it and did what dogs do.
You are the only one who seems to make any sense of this story. Why does everyone have to get so off course? You know my son who arrested last year in Fayetteville for riding a friends 4 wheeler, that was stolen and he was charged with theft (but throw out) and then his name come up on google in lamar county. After that, there were several post from people in Lamar Co. about how he must be some bad kid, unemployed and drug dealer. My son doesn't touch drugs, is in the union and been employed since he was 14 and 20 now. Great kid. You know we moved to Barnesville from Atl. 3 years ago to get away from that mess & these people are mean down here. I wish I would have know before, people are always talking bad about people. Look at the comments about the Subway being robbed, they got completly off from the kids having a shot gun held to them to dread locks, now that's bad. Sorry if I offended anyone. Have a great day.
About two days before this article was posted I watched tree pitt bulls run down a deer and rip the guts out of it in griffin. Someone who ran the dogs off and called the Griffin police department. Officers Moxon and Mcfarlan then came out and shot the deer. So this very easly could have been a healthy deer that the dogs killed in Barnesville just like the one in Griffin.
