BPD issues warrant in Title Cash robbery

Detectives with the Barnesville Police Department have issued a warrant for Alison Leanna Cook for false report of a crime and theft by taking.

Cook was the sole employee on August 31 when an emergency call was placed in regards to a robbery at Title Cash on Highway 341 and Yatesville Road.

The suspect being sought was originally described by Cook as a lone white male. The amount of money taken was undetermined at the time of the incident.

I cant believe someone would be stupid enough to do this. There are other places that actually keep cash. A title pawn makes loans and pays with checks. Some people will do anything for a dollar!

No Redneck Robber? My time was wasted in the futile search for a non existant crook. Oh well! I didn't find a robber, but, I found the finest girl who ever filled up and stretched out a pair of Wrangler jeans. Bonnie Lou is now my "gurl". A real Pike County gurl!

I hope this fine newspaper posts the photo of the actual THIEF so that all the suspected Redneck robbers and thieves will feel they have been vindicated.
