Jason Strickland's Lamar County Trojans routed the Macon County Bulldogs 39-20 Friday night at Trojan Field.

Maco got two scores late against the Trojan JV to make an otherwise lopsided score respectable.

The game was awesome. The Trojans are fun to watch again. Jason Strickland has done a great job! And did I hear the Ric Flair signature wooooooooo!, from the announcer? ......kudos to everyone!

So are JV and Varsity are both playing on Thursday JV is suppose to play Pike County in Pike and Varsity is playing Jordan, how did this happen?? Anyways Go Trojans!! Keep up the good work Trojans are 3-1 and JV undefeated!!

Yeah if possible the game needs to be moved to Saturday if they can't Friday. Awesome game this week Trojans. I think that if Macon County didn't shoot themselves in the foot with penalties it would have been a shootout with both teams scoring 40 plus. I was impressed by the way our D stepped it up in the redzone and stopped them several times. Jordan better be ready, definitely since they lost to Macon County.

There is no JV game this week! The VARSITY will play Jordan on Thursday night at KINNETT STADIUM in Columbus @ 7:00. Look at the football website = www.leaguelineup .com/lamarcountyfootball

Absolutely amazing at the turn around of the program in just one year. Kudos to the coaching staff. Looks like the biggest improvement has come on defense and special teams. Hopefully, this improvement in the football program will filter down to all of the other athletic programs, as well... GATA, LC!!!

the JV game that was scheduled for this Thursday was moved to October 29 at five o'clock in Zebulon. When the varsity schedule was made, this week's game was orignially scheduled for Saturday afternoon in Columbus. The JV schedule was made before the varsity changed its game to Thursday so the JV had to be re-secheduled.

I'm glad they got it all straightened out. Is the game Thursday at 7 or 7:30? And where exactly is the stadium? I don't think it is at the same stadium where we played spencer.
