The Lamar County Lady Trojans are 8-10 on the softball diamond after splitting four games over the past two weeks. That stretch included winning one of three region games to go to 1-2 in 5AA.
Lamar was shut out on the road by the top two teams in the region, falling to Pike County 2-0 in Zebulon and to Heard County 15-0 in Franklin.

The Lady Trojans host Macon County today at 5:30 p.m. at the middle school. Lamar beat Manchester over there Tuesday and are currently fourth in Region 5AA which qualifies them for a spot in the post-season. Come out and see the ladies play and cheer them on.
