Sheriff Larry Waller, today, issued a warning to all citizens and businesses to be on the lookout for fake $100 bills. The bills look authentic but careful inspection will expose the flaws.

FYI- For further information on identifying counterfeit bills you can visit the website catchfrauds dot com. Their Catch Frauds counterfeit detection systems are very inexpensive and catch the counterfeiters 99% of the time. Small businesses are often the target of crooks that pass bad bills as their employees are the most trusting of customers.

Strip is to the right of Lincoln, not the left side Fed seal. That strip uses the number 5, instead of spelling out f-i-v-e.
When held up to a light, the likeness of Lincoln does not appear on right, instead it is the number 5.
Also when held up to a light, there are now 3 number 5's stacked on top of each other just right of the Fed seal on the left
I am not a currency expert... by sheer luck, I happened to have an older 5 and a newer 5 in my wallet.
