Two high profile defendants are scheduled for pre-trial hearings in Lamar superior court today.
Embattled Morehouse College police chief Vernon Worthy is due in court. He is charged with false imprisonment, aggravated assault and pointing a pistol at another.
A conviction on any of the three counts could cost him his POST certification and his job.

Probably let Smith Plea out also so we can have room in the Jail for the bad check writers and shoplifters
