I think History will treat George W. Bush much better than the national media has over the last 2 years. Many persons in the media has used the media's position to make George W. look foolish.
David Letterman for one. I feel, whether some agree or not with me, that George's actions on terrorism have prevented any more attacks to our nation.
I agree. Ole' W had some issues I didnt agree with, but overall he did a good job protecting America from another terror attack. I must say the American people have voted for another way for this country to be challenged though. It cant fall from an outside opposition but from within much like the Roman empire.
I think history will judge W as what he really is, a blundering fool who never should have managed a 7-11 let alone a nation.
He surrounded himself with people who gave bad advice and he never was smart enough to be able to sort through the rubbish and make good choices. He was never a leader.
While he is mostly not responsible for where we at with our nation's loss of manufacturing, he is totally responsible for some of the most significant national security blunders that have ever occured.
He took us into a nation that had nothing to do with 911, he ran us into unheard of debt, he turned all the sympathy of the world that was for us and against terrorists into hate for us. Bush alone accomplished exactly what Binladen set out to do. Without Bush's blundering, Binladen's operation on 911 would have been a total failure and the world would have crushed terrorists.
Although I did not agree with most of his policies, I believe he did the very best he could. We make our own choices in this world, and follow our own convictions. Noboby is perfect - and we should not expect them to be. My hope is that he puts aside what anyone on this earth thinks of him and follows his heart to what he thinks is right.
I can remember when Reagan was considered a blithering idiot and Clinton was considered impeachment material. Gerald Ford was the subject of jokes.
Give it some time and we will look back at George W. with respect.
We Americans are an optimistic people.

Bush was really Binladen's best asset.

Otherwise, shut up, because you’re just a back seat politician without a clue trying to impress those making intelligent comments.
