Coach,
It's amazing what our team can do when we pass first then run isn't? Our team isn't made to run the ball over and over again. Got to open up the run by passing the ball. Awesome job and recognizing that and firing up our boys at half-time.
We gotta stop having these slow starts. Thats what hurt us last week. That slow start and Callaway got away. Great job though guys. Way to pull it through!
Great job! I agree with #7...coach needs to give his halftime pep talk before game or something! We've had slow starts several times including Jordan, Callaway and Crawford.
And what was the deal with SO MANY fans leaving with 2 or 3 minutes to go. I know it was cold but come on...if you had sat there that long stick it and let the players hear how much you support them at the end of the game when they come off the field! The way the masses were leaving you would've thought LC lost!!!
It's a huge week for Trojan football as all three teams are in action at Trojan field. The MS Trojans open their playoffs against Pike County Wednesday at five o'clock. The JV Trojans host Pike County Thursday at five o'clock. The varisty hosts Heard County Friday night at 7:30 p.m. for homecoming. A win by the varsity Trojans clinches a spot in the state playoffs and keeps hopes alive of hosting a first round game. The collective record of these three teams is 14-2 with the V suffering the two defeats. So the future looks bright for Trojan football but the future is NOW so come out and support our local boys.
Can't have a bad start against Heard or we might get beat on Homecoming. If we play like we did the 1st half against Crawford we won't win another game. I hope our passing game carries over in Friday night's match up.
3 regular season games...
Oct 23 - Heard County homecoming
Oct 30 - Pike County away
Nov 6 - Manchester County home
Manchester could be a big game if LC and Manchester both win next 2 games, Manchester will come in here last game of season to determine #2 in region. #2 gets home field advantage in state playoffs. #3 travels to first playoff game.
