Griffin police find missing teen

The Griffin Police Dept. has found a missing teenage girl. Madeleine Raleigh Gantt was last seen on Forrest Ave. in Griffin at 10:30 a.m. October 22. She was located at 10 p.m. October 22 in Alabama and is safe.

I hope this girl returns home safe! I will be praying for her.

This happened to us and we were worried sick for three days. Daughter about the same age got angry because she considered us to strict. She was staying with a friend close to home. I hope everything turns out ok for the family.

Dealing with the runaway episode was the most difficult thing because as parents you have to stand your ground.

I hope this is just an act of definence and that no harm has come to the child. Prayers go out that God will protect this young lady and show her the way back home.

My heart goes out to the parents. I went through hell with my son when he was in his teens...not coming home for days, trouble with the law etc. Like the saying goes..when they are young they step on your toes,when they get older they step on your heart.

Appreciate the update and am glad the girl has been found safe.
Now I imagine the real work has to begin for her and her family.

Thank God this young teen was found.So many teens get caught up in the wrong things or the wrong people.We as parents can only do so much,I know the parents of this teen are so very happy to have her back!
