Republicans who want to support President Obama's war strategy in Afghanistan expressed concern Sunday that the president could miss a key opportunity to gain the upper hand on the growing insurgency by waiting too long to grant a request for thousands for more U.S. troops.

By resigning, Obama can devote all his dithering time to more important tasks. Yes, we are constantly reminded that BHO is a multi-tasker.
Obama is constantly busy constantly doing nothing constantly.
As President and Dither-In-Chief of our Armed Forces, he dithers in his dithering because he is too occupied to carry out "Da' people's bidness".
Since the head ditherer has been in office, most of his time has been taken up by important dithering tasks like: choosing a small black pooping pup name "BO"..not original but, "BO's" smelly deposit left on Air Force One characterizes the numerous piles of POTUS BO's crappy messes.
Obama has not shown personal dithering by doing the following:
posing for magazine covers,playing golf, playing basketball with his homies, appearing on the Dufus David Letterman Show, taking his "honey" out to dinner, playing golf, burning up fuel on Air Force One making campaign appearances for Democrap candidates, holding press conferences to blast anyone who dares to disagree with him, playing golf, holding a phony Beer Summit to aid his pal Henry L. President Bush set an agenda to eliminate radical Islamic terrorism from the world and those terrorist did not operate from only Afghanistan. Obama did not inherit a mess; he is creating one with his inability to make a command decision as Commander in Chief. What the people are actually witnessing is a shift from a person dedicated to the Defense of the United States (Bush) to a person incapable of acting at all (Obama) in spite of the fact he has fully qualified people engaged in this war telling him the needs.
#2 you obviously have no idea what you are talking about and you know nothing of the enemy that the US is engaged with. This would never have been a quick war and Bush informed all the people of the US of this fact before either started. He said that the US wouldn’t rest until those responsible have been eliminated. Now Americans are falling back asleep and are encouraging lame leadership to crawl or back out while pointing fingers. Had past leadership been so lame we would have a Nazi Europe and whole different world. The only way to win this war is to eliminate the enemy completely.
Of course we can start it all over again when an inexperienced and wimpy leadership backs out without completing the goal. I only hope that the second attacks will hit some of you that can’t finish the job so you won’t be here to complain and cry when the military has to start over.

What has been lost here is Obama chose a new strategy back in March. Now he is considering changing again. I had a superb commander during the Gulf War who would say, order, counterorder, disorder. That is what it appears we have now, disorder.
Infantry officers are taught that a good solution executed with vgor and determination is always better than the best solution that was made to late. We are about to be "to late".
When I taught ROTC at Mississippi State I could teach my cadets the right answer for any military situation. I could not teach a cadet to make a decision. I had several bright cadets that I released from the program because of their inability to make a decision. Indecision doesn't work at the cadet/2lt level, it certainly doesn't work at the presidential level.
Frankly I hope we implement our ground commander's advice and allow them to win. As a former soldier there is no substitute for winning. But if that is not to be, get us out and get us out now.
Elections have consequences
The cost of the war is now well over $230 billion with 897 dead soldiers. I hope our President takes the time for a good hard look at all the options of what is and is not possible in how to bring this war to an end. We have much to take care of at home.
