If your one of her sisters...then you should know he didn't do that on purpose...he loved Sandy and you know it was an accident.....RIP Sandy...miss you bunches girl....
There aren’t enough details on this story for anyone to really understand completely what happened but I can say this: NEVER POINT A GUN AT ANYONE YOU DON’T INTEND TO KILL! and THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS AN UNLOADED GUN! Had this guy lived by those two basic rules of gun safety this lady would be alive today, if in fact this was an accident.
I resent the accusation that because he possessed marijuana then marijuana caused this totally avoidable and senseless act. The article doesn’t say he was under the influence. Because of our ridiculous marijuana prohibition laws the media and most readers seem to blame the drug when bad things happen and articles even mention marijuana. People with no experience or knowledge of the REAL effects of marijuana tend to think they are similar to alcohol. THEY ARE NOT! Alcohol often brings on reckless dangerous aggressive behavior. Marijuana tends to calm a person down and although they are slightly impaired they know they are impaired and the vast majority of marijuana users adequately compensate by being more cautious. I’ve interviewed several police officers about marijuana and they all say pretty much the same things, “except for the smell of marijuana, the ONLY way they can spot a driver under the influence of marijuana is by looking for people driving a little too slow or being a little too cautious”.
Now don’t get me wrong, I’m not suggesting that people should drive when they are too impaired to do so safely, I’m just making a point about marijuana and its effects on the majority of those that use it.
Millions of people use marijuana in a safe responsible way and it is totally unjust to demonize all of them because a very few do stupid things. We arrest someone every 38 seconds in the US on a marijuana charge. According to law enforcement estimates they are only catching about 10% of the total users. Do a little math and you can quickly see that the vast numbers of marijuana users are safe responsible citizens. If they weren’t the news papers would not be able to contain all the stories about the harms that many people would be involved in.
