160 property owners face delinquent tax sales

The number of delinquent Lamar County property tax payers, more than 630 a month ago, has shrunk to the 160 property owners now facing tax lien sales.

Legal notice of those sales is being published beginning this week in The Herald-Gazette.

There will be more-- on and on as these trying times
are upon us. My home is paid for but we still pay
rent to the goverment to live here by paying
property taxes. Why can't we let everyone pay?
The property owners pay to keep the goverment up.
Lets get FAIR TAX a try................
