Lamar Co. health department administering FluMist vaccine

Several dozen people were already in line at 8 a.m. today to receive their H1N1 FluMist vaccine.

The Lamar County Health Office has a limited supply of the vaccine and is currently offering it to healthy individuals between the ages of 2 and 49.

I've heard too much bad about this mist and the H1N1 shot. I'm going to let some of Barnesville take it first, observe, then if the virus gets bad enough I'll consider it.

Interesting comments. Have either of you looked at the thousands who have already received the FluMist vaccine? To address the first Anon, what have you heard that is negative about the nasal vaccine? You were a bit vague.
To Anon #2, why do you think the government is involved with FluMist? MedImmune is a publicly traded company.

Have I looked at those that received it? H1N1 is a brand new virus with a brand new "vaccine" so the answer is no, no one has had the ability to actually see what might end up happening. I have seen stuff like this though:

This Dystonia condition appeared the same time they attempted to combat the swine flu last time it was prevalent. So yeah, ya'll let me know how everything ends up.

There has never been a single case of dystonia linked to any flu shot (see reference below).
You are also incorrect in your statement that dystonia was linked to prior swine flu outbreaks.

This is not a "brand new vaccine". H1N1 is in the seasonal flu vaccine.It was just not enough. Read before you buy into "They sayers".
