Trojan Field hosts first playoff game Friday

The Lamar County Trojans got a clutch performance from quarterback Mike Bloodser and defeated the Manchester Blue Devils 28-27 Friday at Trojan Field.

The win set up the first playoff game in the new stadium's short history when North Oconee comes to town this week. Kickoff is 7:30 p.m. Friday.

This will be my first game to see the Trojans play this year -- not counting the preseason scrimmage. Congratulations on having a successful year, and GATA on Friday Night. 13 is my favorite number, btw. The number 13 means everything to me. Somebody will know what the underlying reference to that number is...

Let's go Big Blue!!!! PLEASE COME TO TROJAN FIELD TONIGHT AND SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL FOOTBALL TEAM!!! I am the proud mother of a trojan and believe me.. they LOVE all of the support they are getting this season and love seeing the stands full of fans!!
