Toxicology complete in mystery deaths

Toxicology tests on four Lamar countians who died unexplained deaths over a short period of time last month have been completed by technicians at the state crime lab, according to GBI public affairs officer John Bankhead.

These patches are dangerous if not used as directed by the prescribing physician. People are buying them on the streets and using them to get high. I know a person who has OD on them 3x!! It scares me to know that the need to get that high is more important than life itself.

Maybe some of these people weren't all drug addicts. Maybe some of these people had very serious back problems, maybe, just maybe some of these people were on disability for severe medical problems. I cannot believe how quickly people are to judge. Did you personally know any of these people? How DARE you judge anyone when you don't know each individuals story, and if if you did know their stories, God is the only Judge!! I pray for your soul!! maybe some of these people were recreational users or abused their prescriptions. Maybe some of these people used to shoot up these drugs and others alike. Maybe these people were sick but abused this system. Maybe the werent as sick as they led on to be. Im sure one of them was but what if your aunt had balls, she would be your uncle.

What do you mean Aunt? Noone ever mentioned as to what relation any one of the Victims were to myself.

Maybe but,( God Forbid) if it were you and your family having to sustain such tragic encumbrance, then you wouldn't palaver your abomanite opinions on here so blatantly.

As I am deducing that your level of Intelligence would divulge, as to concluding how you converse with and about other people, that you would most likely be on the same level or inferior than most "Drug Addicts" (as you imply) on the street.

Let God into your life and he shall guide you to salvation.

you are stupid. Trying to use big words and lead me to salvation. You need to work out your own salvation. I am a Christian and i call them how i see them.
The comment about the aunt wasnt directed towards you. Its just a general phrase " if you aunt had balls, she would be your uncle". Just saying what if, what if ,what if. Well what if your aunt had balls,,,,,, she would be your uncle.

What are these patches for??
So they are saying that the 4th person, who had health problems and people were fussing saying that he didn't die because of drugs, he used this patch too?

These patches are for pain and are usually only prescribed to end of the line cancer patients. They are 100 times stronger than morphine and are very easy to overdose on even when they are used correctly. The 5 companies that produce them all use the same machine to make them and that machine has a fold over defect associated with it. If you want to know more about this drug and it's delivery system google fentanyl of go to NYTimes.com and search fentanyl. There is plenty of information out there and quite frankly its disturding how many people die from it and that's not counting the ones who use it incorrectly. My husband died from it in 2008 and he was using it as prescribed to him by his Dr.

I REALLY CAN NOT UNDER STAND WHY ANY DOC. WOULD GIVE THIS PERSCRIPTION TO ANY ONE THAT WAS NOT AT THEIR LAST STAGE OF THEIR LIVES KNOWING HOW STRONG THEY ARE .AND KNOWING THEY CAN VERY EASY OVER DOSE .OR ANY MEDICINE THAT COULD HARM THEM.iknow one of these girls and i do know that she was given this medication by her doc. and i know that she would not on purpose do this to her self.

These patches are for those who are in chronic pain or debilitating pain dt end of life disease or wounds. The ususal dosage is 1 patch for every 3 days and if the patch comes off, it cannot be replaced until the correct time frame/scheduled day. Many individuals that I see, use these patches due to the fact that regular pain medications taken by mouth are no longer effective , as these allow the skin to absorb the pain killer, and seem to keep the person without pain for an extended period of time, instead of it running out like pain medications often do..

Now this is rather pathetic. I would like to know the causes of death as well in the 4 in a row deaths here. But putting a picture of the patch up to intentionally lead the readers to believe that this is going to be the result of all of the deaths is simply wrong. If you have the actual results and intend to publish them, that is one thing but this note above states "The toxicology reports are now being reviewed by a forensic pathologist" which means that they are not complete to be available for public review. I am simply stating that if you want to raise awareness of this abused medication, write a real story. If you want to get us the news, do it properly. Thank you.

on what grounds are you talking about. Slander for who or about who. Wrongful death on who.
This is a classic case of Drug abuse. Period. It doesnt matter who knew who. All of these people were addicted to pain meds. This is what killed them.

listen, i will tell you this since no one else has. GO TO HELL!!!! no one cares about your sorry ass comments. yea they did wrong but is that your place to say they we're NO it isn't. Their family is suffering from these losts and no one asked for your sympathy about this! I was a very close friend to one of the victims and she was a very good person and loved everyone so screw u!!!!!!!! and mind your own business.
