I am a baby boomer, which is to say my life has coincided with turbulent and awesome times. From the Cold War to Vietnam, from Watergate to Monicagate, through the horrors of 9/11 and the stunning lifestyle advances, my generation's era has been historic and exciting.

Regret it. Well you are to blame! Now you
Cry and wine because of the results he told
You he would destroy the country with this garbage

Change things vote right next time.
Stop voting because you get a chill up your leg.
WELL, WE GOT IT!
There have been many changes this year... and boy has it been rough! Lost jobs, crash housing markets, collapsed banking systems, unemployment off the chart, homeless rate increases, increased government spending, our national deficit at record highs, Detroit no longer "Motor City", more US industry moving overseas, continued erosion of our right to bear arms, etc..
NEXT TIME, LET'S VOTE FOR "CHANGE", IN THE OTHER DIRECTION... UP!

The question one should ask oneself is, "Which side am I on? Who am I, if not a child of God?"
Most would rather choose a subjective approach of unquestionable acceptance of scripture because of a sense of security it brings rather than to think objectively and run the risk of taking exception. The fact is, it takes a great deal of hard work on one’s self in order to move closer to God. We must go places in the mind and heart that will bring pain and discomfort because there is no other way to heal from our personal challenges than face them. To take an unpopular stand when dealing with religious scripture is sometime a necessity step because you know in your heart and mind that this can not be true because in fact it separates you from your brother. The human heart is the final arbitrator of what is true or what really matters in life. I believe it is this connection what we Christians sometimes call the Holy Spirit. It is when the heart, mind and soul are in perfect resonance where then the truth becomes self evident and as a result will stand on its own merit.
The bible is written on many levels. Some people only understand literal interpretation, others see the abstract.
And remember, Jesus was not Christian.
