Thanks to community involvement and word-of-mouth the Barnesville Police Department has apprehended two juveniles in the vandalism reports described below.
According to Detective Al Moltrum of the BPD all victims will be contacted.

A vandal or vandals damaged Christmas decorations and did other minor damage at 15-16 Barnesville homes Monday night.

This is a symptom of a bigger issue. It is society's fault...IDLE HANDS...ETC.
Give the youth something to do besides playing violent video games, getting drunk and hanging out in parking lots.
Donate/start a cause to bring some life to Barnesville so that children may have something constructive to do.
As far as society fault, yes? and no...
yes, we all need to inspire & help provide positive "things" for kids to do instead of "hangin out", negative, & "I'm bored".
ALTHOUGH
no, teenagers don't need to blame "society"
There are "things" for kids to do together:
see list below if you wish, I did these fun productive & positive "things", mostly self-disciplined for many years as a teenager and still do:
+ Pick up Pecans and sell or share or bake
+ Play board games that develop cooperation
+ Help elderly with household chores or visits
+ Build & invent scientific models or learn to design "things" that improve human existance
+ Plant a garden and learn to cook and share it
+ Train a horse or animal & prepare to show
+ Fix something a home with being asked
+ Serve as a trainee to learn a guided trade
+ Read to learn from history to avoid mistakes
+ Write a book or get a overseas penpal, maybe a solider that misses his kids or family
+ Collect trash & recylables to sell
+ Join a charity or help the handicaped
+ Go to Church and respect God's green earth
+ See problems as an opportunity to make it better, be positive and help with Love for all.

Stop the senseless running about, demand that the boys make it right with everyone involved immediately, no lolly-gagging. Then simply love them and forgive them.

Can you explain one thing? Why did you do it and what do you think would prevent other kids from doing things like this? Ignore the idiots who are over-reacting. They are as stupid as the act you commited.
Sadly, when one of our commissioners and his buddies destroyed about $500 worth of property on Thomaston St nothing was done. Mind you there was a witness sitting on her porch and watched it.
