The Lamar County sheriff's office made these arrests recently:
Dustin Lee McPherson, 26, Milner, child support;
George Frankling Phillips, 52, no address given, disorderly conduct;
Fernando Antjuan Beckham, 30, Jackson, serving time;
Jimmy Lee Willis Jr., 32, Griffin, child support;
Warren Austin Fincher, 27, Barnesville, disorderly conduct, criminal interference with government property, cruelty to children and obstruction of an officer;
Jason Brian Little, 38, no address given, arrested for another agency;
Cedric Wayne Hendrix, 20, Barnesville, speeding and other charges;
Ann Marie Cruzan, 40, Bonaire, interference with custody;
Gary Lamont Willis, 30, Barnesville, deposit account fraud;
Aaron Glen Hartley, 18, Jackson, obstruction of an officer;
William Raymond Butts, 22, Barnesville, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana;
Tiffany Marie Sargent, 19, Barnesville, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana;
Cary Scott Wilson, 46, Culloden, family violence battery;
Joseph Stephen Melton, 29, Milner, driving with a suspended license and weaving over roadway;
Prentice Maurice Head, 28, Barnesville, probation violation and obstruction of an officer.

Actually, we've been out of school almost 29 years. Cary wasn't mean to everyone in school. He was very nice to me. Still is when I see him around town. He's a bit of a redneck, but he has good company in our little town.

This is very true... Cary has a heart of gold..He wouldn't hurt anybody ,some poeple just don't know when to shut there mouth and leave things alone. They just want to provoke him...If you leave him alone ,he will leave you alone..

Cary has always looked after the one's he can trust. I have been labeled Trouble not because I cause any (but like Cary I don't take any either) people judge others before they even know them "Cary is my friend."

cary has been in bars and clubs before locally and walk up to some random Joe because the "joe" was trying to impress someone and he would slap the piss out of them or something similar.
He has calmed down in his older age but he has been wild as a buck in the 90s i know. I think he was actually asked not to come back to barnesville or something like that years ago i believe.
Hes an idiot but im sure he like the ones that he likes no doubt. I guess he is a good one to have on your side but id rather just keep away from people like him and danny pressley and those alike.

Well I saw hit kick a young man one time at Buggy Days just because the kid was riding through where we all were sitting at Kip's. It was horrible. I've always known Cary to be mean!

Actually the guys was mouthing off at someone who was standing with us and Cary as usual had to step in. He kicked that kid in the head.

Yes he was banished by Byron Smith by court order from Lamar County. It was never enforced and he is still a nuisance. Keep him in jail! He contributes nothing to society!

I think anywhere else in Georgia and he would just be a memory. He has been luck yet unlucky all his life.

what good could come out of it. Its hard to carry a civilized conversation with him much less tell him what his faults are. Do you remember when him and reed ramsey were at each other. I thought that was gonna be the end of his bville journey.
Some people train to fight and some people will just flat out end it. I have too much to lose unlike him so why would i confront him about his stupidity. Im not gonna fight him. Why would i want to go to prison over that crap?

I am from the same family as Cary, and he IS NOT a bad apple! What does he need to be a shamed of??? He is a good man,has a heart of gold. He is nice to the people who are nice to him..Everyone Thinks he is a bad person,just by the talk in Barnesville.If People would not provoke him,and say things behind his back,he wouldn't need to kick there butts...

I have to put my two cents in now - I think all of you need to find something better to do with your time than make a dang tribute page as to whether or not Cary is a good or a bad person - he can be a great person..I KNOW - but his temper is what gets him , EVERY time . If you haven't lived with the man or slept in his bed , in essence , been around him for more than a night of partying or him repairing a vehicle for you and what not , you have no DAMNED clue as to how he is . This goes for anyone , for that matter . He's VERY misunderstood - I'll give you that . He just needs to understand SELF-CONTROL . There are better ways of handling issues , than fighting and hitting AND HURTING people. I should know , and DO know . If you knew me , you'd know too - geez !

well his own brother shot him a few years back. That aught to tell you something there. They passed it off as being an accident. That is bull crap. That man knows more about guns than anyone on the LCSO and BPD. You dont just have accidents or a gun go off by accident. I know better. They had been having problems up until the gun went off. He didnt want the brother to go to prison so it was " an accident".
I can read between the lines.

I think that this town has nothing better to do than ride someone's ass over their past - It quite frankly sickens me , to know that I wouldn't be forgiven for something that happened 20 years ago. As far as that Jason incident - yeah , Jason shot him , because he thought he could stand up to Cary and found out he's still just a cocky lil' wuss-puss. He couldn't handle being knocked down a peg or 2 and pulled a trigger instead of taking an asswhooping like a MAN - such a coward's way of handling it. Even today , he nuts up at the very mention of Cary...so childish.Yet Cary , lol , told the police it was an accident - because he loved his brother , and knew he really didn;t mean it . Yet he walks around with a screwed up leg now. I love Cary to death , he's a good man - he's got problems , but you would have too if you had to grow up ion a town full of ignorant hicks who made fun of you because a chainsaw about took your head off . People are cruel and shit happens because of it . They should let this problem go (LCSD) - they just have nothing better to do .

i agree that if you have a problem with Cary he'll be willing to talk it over with you, just don't approach him in a aggressive manner, because he has that "old school" way of handling things.

nobody is perfect, so please find a better way to kill time than running your mouth on this blog. Cary is not a bad apple, just a sour one!

All of us have had made some bad decisions in our lives. Cary's made some, I've made some. But deep down inside Mr. Wilson is a good man..
Someone you would want on you side.Someone that would watch your back, someone you could trust. God's speed Cary.

Ok...why are people bringing up what happened 10 years ago , between Jason and Cary ? That has NOTHING to do with the issue at hand. Personally , I think it is between them and GOD , people - get a clue ! Cary just made a BAD mistake - it's cost him alot . People screw up every day and if it was your average "Joe" , it would have already been forgotten. Someone says Cary Wilson , and it's time to pull out the artillery , right ! I know there are people in this county who have done a helluva lot worse , and NOONE noticed ! Let it go - and leave his family's personal issues where they need to be - PRIVATE ! Lay off Cary - he's just got issues - and for those of you who really know him , well lol , you know him .

Ok people could let it go and do let it go but it seems that he has made it onto the wall of shame again. So, what is the excuse this time. He is good at what he does as far as a mechanic and this, that, and the other. I dont think the picking about a chainsaw thing lasted too long. That isnt the reason behind his actions. He was good at fighting. He liked it. It made him be above the rest and he liked the spotlight that came with it.

I remember him being asked to not come in a local bar one night not to many years ago because of his harassment of the others and smart mouth. He was asked to leave and didnt want to do so. Needless to say he left but not by choice. I think it landed him into Spalding regional. If im not mistaken, Doug Cherry owned the establishment at the time.

That is neither here nor there. Some people just have a cloud that follows them around. So, lets "lay off Cary" because he has issues. Lets just keep letting stuff happened and let the ones that like him keep trying to justify his actions. He doenst affect me, but I just think all of the junk is stupid or rediculous that someone cant just live a normal life without all the drama.

I would assume that none of you have heard that Cary has pancreatic cancer and a tumor on his lung. It's time for forgiveness and a little respect. If you see Cary on the street, extend your hand and offer a prayer tonight that he find his way home. God loves all of us as we all belong to him. My heart weeps for the Wilson family and for Cary.

Either you love him or ya hate him...personally, I love him ! I remember going to town as a little girl and him giving me money to play games at the Palace. He was always so nice to me! As adults, we have continued to be friends...and believe me, we have had our differences, but nothing that could ever end our friendship. So many of you say he's mean, he's angry, etc., but you would be too if you had to pay in the way he did for some of the trouble he had gotten into. I'm not saying he didn't deserve to be punished, but sometimes Cary had no second chances for some of the most minor things he'd done as a teenager and young man... he always had to pay the ultimate price for even some of the most minor things he did ....my gosh, no wander he has a mean streak in him! Like Al said....if he tells you he'll do something, he will and may not charge you a penny! If you don't know him, you've missed out on a person that does have a good heart...and by no means will he ever be that fake person that so many are in B'ville. I wish Cary and his family the best and I hope with all of my heart that he and Jason can set aside their differences and become close again. You will always have a place in my heart Cary...besides, you were a "wolverine" !!

Reading this it is no wonder that the only thing that has changed in Barnesville it now has a Freds. I always said if you could buy most of the people around Barnesville for what they are worth and sell them what they thought they were worth you could become rich. I remember years ago when Cary got jumped and beaten pretty badly by about 15 guys down at the bar next to the EMC. He was the only one arrested. For the rest of you I hear Dollar General is having a sale Saturday.

I take it that there is no victim in this case??? How would you idiots feel if the victim were you or someone you cared about? I do not know this guy or anything about him other than the drama that has played out in this blog. But, I am willing to bet that there is a victim in the case that he is charged with ... did that ever happen to cross your minds?

95% of you have no idea what you're even talking about. Why don't you have some respect and remember that Cary has a mother, a father, he is someone's father and grandfather. Has a sister, brothers and nephews. Cary could care less what you say, but you may really be hurting these people with your ugly comments.
