you are right, Clayton county has gone to hell, but they have not come back, as the statement says, they are still there.

I'm sorry but I think that's disrespectful to call those girls sluts?

Would you want someone to call your wife, daughter, or niece such a term????

The performance is in poor taste, in my opinion. However, I've seen far more "slutty" behavior from girls in Lamar Co.

I can read very well! I also have great analytical skills as well and you maybe missed the insult, but I didn't. They didn't call themselves that, the youtube video referred to the girls as that.

Walter linked to the article, using the tagline "the sluts of jonesboro", which was NOT the title of the AJC article. That was in very poor taste.

That was terrible.Nothing worse than fat girls in clothes that are too small that think they can dance. Looked like most of the crowd was getting with it but what do you expect from them. I'm sure momma is happy and dad,yea right I'm sure there is one.

I know this is not politically correct statement but the blacks and hispanics have totally ruined that county. They wanted to turn tara blvd into rose parks hwy. That says it all.

I said up front that my statement was not politically correct and maybe I should keep my comments to myself, but it’s still a fact. Obviously you haven't ridden through Clayton County anytime soon or you would understand. There is an Oriental Spa on every corner; crime is 10 times worse their and its just dirt.
As far as Tara Blvd, Clayton County was where Gone with Wind was filmed. To me that have a lot more historic relevance to the area than Rosa Parks does.
Believe it or not I actually voted for Obama and I still think he is the best man for the job. Hell he would probably say the same thing about Clayton County if he lived here.
Laura, I know my comment sounded racist and I should have worded it better. As for you, go back to the Pharmacist and get your prescription of Saraquil or what ever Bi-polar medicine filled, AND TAKE IT. Lady you need it!

1st Tara Blvd is a road and in 1865 it was a field. I know the family... As for African American there is no such thing. Whoopi said it best, "you can be a African OR an American but you can't be from two places at the same time. As for me I'm American."...now for the President. He is not my black President
nor was Bush my white president. They,like all the rest, are OUR Presidents. If you check the blood line of all past you would be surprised. And only part of GWTW was filmed in Clayton Co. most was in Atlanta and as for the name change..to my knowledge Roas Parks never road down Tara Blvd. Let it honor the past as Tara...Now getting to the real reason..These girls or high school STUDENTS..they could have said no but didn't...and for parents, they are not allowed at practies(1st hand knowledge w/school)...I will leave with this thought there were other teachers and parents and others in charge at this game..why did they stop it and I know they could have...not only was it tastless but almost soliciting...come on adults step up...we don't want that trash on our streets why would we let it pass in our schools...

The problem is a few educators and parents spoiling the kids. Look at Lamar schools. Parents and a few of the people in charge are more interested in a big show than in education. The whole thing is an exercise in show and glitter like those wide tires and 3000 dollar rims on a $500 oil burning beater. Several million for a stadium when we already had a good one and a bunch of students that can't talk right or make change being turned out into the world. We have screwed-up priorities. It's all about putting on a big show. If they can't spell or do math who cares?Let's make the little darlings all feel good.

That stupid stadium is going to ruin property values for all the folks in Carriage Trace and on Burnette Rd...like it's not already hell getting down Burnette Rd due to traffic congestion.

Wow Lauren, settle down and take your meds; then do a little research on Clayton County. I have a relative on the police dept there and he tells me all the time about the crime there. Southlake Mall has become one of the most dangerous malls in Ga and not to be racist, just stating facts. Go see for yourself the types of people who are shopping there. I'll not even call out a race here, but go look for yourself. And OMG, I hope you're white because you're gonna have so much fun being the minority you love so much. Just go walk around the mall and tell me how safe you feel. Tell me how comfortable you feel walking back to your car alone after the sun goes down. Then write back and tell me what the hell's wrong with Clayton County? Ok? Oh yeah, and the MIDOL...you can still find it on the shelf!!!
