While many people were at home resting or enjoying their families the Dewaine T. Bell Difference Makers along with nearly 100 guests participated in the Freedom March in an effort to bring unity to the community.
Put together largely by April Smith, the event featured politicians, pastors, students and community members alike.

The man was a great leader. Enough said.
The fact that yesterday's march was considered a parade, speaks to the historical ignorance of some people in this town, which is a travesty. I also saw comments about MLK, Jr.'s adultery. Ppl, sin is sin. Adultery is no different than racism. Do not point a finger at a deceased man, who sparked a monumental movement toward unity between the races, in accusation, when you have your own issues that you are dealing with. Your hidden porn addictions, your gossip, your hatred, bitterness, and unforgiveness. Every bit of it just as vile.
ALso, if you are going to disagree with an issue. Have a decent argument. Do research. Understand the motivation and then, maybe, you can speak out of knowledge instead of ignorance and fear. Otherwise you will actually be the uneducated fools that you appear to be and no one will take you seriously at all. Educate yourselves. You might find an understanding you werent expecting.
