Barnesville police are seeking two men in connection with a home invasion-style armed robbery January 27 at Magnolia Apartments on Greenwood Street in Barnesville.

magnolian apts has increased in crime because the owners of Mcleroy reality just wants their money per apt rather than to run a decent complex and get all the trash out of there. They have refused to have an onsite manager to help with the process.

Ill start this off.
Anyone want to bet that this activity was caused by some ppl with dreads. I know, I know i keep on stirring the pot but one day all of these ppl that are in denial about this trend will wake up. They are slowly coming across the tracks one month at a time.

It comments like that which show your true colors. My son has dreads and is a straight "A" student, who has never made a B his whole school career. And guess what we don't live across the tracks either. So keep stirring the pot, I'm sure your granny nor your mama didn't teach you any better. Word to the wise as the old people would say, "That ditch you dig, you better dig two." Maybe you need to sit down with someone from across the track and ask them what that means.

HUh, before I begin, I would not like to offend anyone...but you are a RACIST! To respond to your undeniable ignorance of THE african-american culture, dreads stand for naturality, and if you look back about 40 or 50 yrs white ppl wore dreads as a sign of freedom and individuality to smoke acid and other drugs. For your information I can think of at least 5 ppl I know who wear dreads and counldnt bust a grape in a food fight!

As far as businesses are concerned, I am a young Black woman who worked in a restaurant owned by barnesville finest red necks, who treated me as if I had to prove myself to them. I only treated them with the kindness and love I was taught from a child, and just because I was black everyone ASSUMED I would have an addiutude, blah blah blah anyway in the end I was the most respected and most loved waitress there. Maybe we all as a nation should just think more about each other and not just ourselves and that would make the USA a better place, dont you think so?
Oh, about crossing the track, I dont know why they doing that,lmao, cause if they knew what I know, they would just move to ATL suburbs where MOST ppl are respected for being an individual no matter what they've been through or what they look like, no matter where you come from YOU should only be judged by who you are not by your hairstyle.
P.S. What do you think about our black president Mr. Barack Obama? lmao;)

You are so ignorant! Since you want to stereotype and throw out racism...I bet you are an uneducated, blonde (male or female), living off of foodstamps and peachcare(hiding it from your so called friends), filed bankruptcy 5 times already, came from the poor trailer trash, smiles in the faces of those who where dreads but are scared to death of them, probably under some type of doctor's care whether it's a recovering alcoholic, mental health patient, HIV or a terminal disease (and blaming it all on somebody else) and then somehow someway swindled yourself into a mix of a few educated people with the same color hair and got them thinking you graduated from UGA and all of sudden living off of dead spouse's life insurance policy. Keep it real! And I'm one of those who can where the dreads!

1.1 That is quite an achievment your child has thus far. Props to him.. really! However you are still missing the picture as a whole. I didnt say (once again) that this "sterotype" applied to all ppl with this look. You keep on getting derailed from what im saying. MOST CRIMINALS VIOLENT AND NON VIOLENT HAS DREADS! There isnt anything hard about this statement to comprehend.

1.2 you got me all messed up. Im not blonde, im am educated, ive never lived in a trailer, no peachcare or foodstamps for me, I smile at some ppl with dreads cause like ive said before, i have quite a few contacts with ppl. Are they sorry as crap?. sure they are. They soak up this economy and ultimately cost the tax payers money just like the leaches in New Orleans.
Dont like alcohol, no mental problems, no diseases (pretty healthy), i went to school but not UGA, bla bla bla..
If you are one of those that can wear the dreads do you disagree with the fact that MOST ALL BLACK PPL THAT COMMIT CRIMES HAS DREADS AND THEY ARE PROBABLY ACTING OUT WHAT THEY HAVE HEARD ON HIP HOP CDS. If you disagree (which you probably will) post up links to prove your part.
Would you agree that it is taught in colleges across the U.S. that black ppl have substantially lower IQs that whites. Im not here to get in a race war with you on this. I know what the deal is and every one else that isnt in denial knows too. Im just saying that black ppl (especially to be a minority) is really heavy into criminal activity and they are all on the news all the time. Sure there are bad mexicans, whites, chinese etc. but the black community has gotten out of control since the mid 90s or so. They say that it all starts at home. What do you think?

I'm sure you have heard of the cliche, what goes around comes around. Since your perception of how that 20ish person is treating you, seems to be negative, then your attitude is mostly likely the same way. It's obvious on this blog! And yes, the new generation have minds of their own and AIN'T SCARED NO MORE! You bring out the whips and chain, and see what you get in return! Now I bet you're smacking your lips and rolling your eyes to that. If you have been watching the news lately, you will see that all races commit crimes...WE may do a lot of robbing and stealing but we are not going to into schools killing innocent kids, creating bombs or getting other people to do our wrong doings (so that we can behind our white sheets). And yes the majority of your people voted for Barack Obama, but look at his genes...THE MALE DNA IS DOMINANT! Again, I say keep it real...

one more thing to go with the above comment i posted.
Why is it that the middle aged and younger aged blacks seem to be the ones with a chip on their shoulder. I see the older ones all the time that is always smiling and greeting everyone no matter what color. They (if anyone) should be disgruntled. I saw a 65ish yr old black lady at the post office the other day. She was the sweetest person, thanked me for holding the door and we asked each other "how are you". We didnt know each other but it was just a normal pleasant experience.

On the other hand, a 29 yr old black %*&#% may come around the corner that you are and you almost run into each other and the white person says "excuse me" and the woman says "uhh huh". Or your at mcdonalds and ask for no pickles or onions and it clearly has them on there and you address the issue. You immediatly get the smacking of the lips along with the suction or the side of the cheek all at one time and with an attitude she tells the cooks the deal. When you get the right food and say "thank you" you get the "hmmmmm" response.
If you think this is just a coencidence just go to different places and see the service you get between races. Its there in plain site for everyone to see. You wont get anything but 110% satisfaction from places like chick-fil-a in mcdonough or somewhere in eagles landing because the environment and ppl are different. There isnt all that foolishness going on until you get up to Jonesboro or Stockbridge. Then white ppl are close to scarce again at the eating places and the service is worse. WHY. i know why!

My name is Eric McLeRoy and I am one of the owners of McLeRoy Realty. I would like to say that we take many steps in screening our tenants to make Magnolia a safe place to live. In the past year we have evicted many tenants that cause trouble. In August 08' we set up an additional office in Barnesville to take a "hands on" approach to keeping our properties safe in Barnesville. In addition we hired a Lamar County deputy to live at Magnolia and patrol the area and to park his patrol car on site during his off hours. These three steps have helped tremendously. There are no steps one can take to keep all people safe at all times. However, we at McLeRoy intend to take every step possible to insure that our properties are maintained in a safe and orderly fashion. We enjoy working in Barnesville and with the people of Barnesville.

Well keep it up Eric. A few years back i know someone who inquired about the managerial part and McLeroy wasnt interested. Attempt monthly inspections and set some ground rules for all tenats. If they dont comply they can move. There are a couple of decent complexes in Barnesville that is ran good and has a 0% crime rate or occurances.

dreads=dreadlocks
80% of violence in the U.S is from gangs. Black gangs and mexican gangs are a large part of the gang profile. How many blacks do you see on the news that has commited a crime that has dreads. 80% maybe or higher??????? Keep an eye out and let us know. There is probably a 1% possibility that a white person ran in on this gambling operation. I would tent to agree that who ever did this PROBABLY has dreadlocks.

i am late to this blog i know so please forgive my being tardy but we trailed off the subject completly with this subject as u can see about if u take the time to read it.everyone wants to take crime and put a color or race to it and its bull.God made all of us and if u break it down,who can show documents that one causes more trouble then the other? anyone have that piece of paper?if u do please take it to the press because that will solve the worlds problem right there.lol there is no such paper and shallow minded people that will never change there way of thinking... its bull,all this PR trying to get a positive spin on how much u have been involved in the saftly of ur apartments.I lived there with my kids and husband for 5 years and had the police and ur office number on speed dial.the cops i think got tired of me calling but parties at 2 am till 4-5 am and drugs being sold right in public eye,guys flirting and watching my daughters,guns and breakins,loud music all the time.this was the worse place i have ever lived.hell-i might have got more sleep if i would have moved across the tracks and IM WHITE.my point about the BS is i called many times to the office and held the phone out the window to let the office hear the party and was told to stop calling,if i had a problem then call the cops or that great but i do that and the cops come out,handle the problem for that minute and leave and the party starts back up.so many complaints came in about the college students that were from atlanta or florida and these folks are from far more violent areas so i thought about that all the time.how easy would it be for them to get into some gang fight and some child be killed due to it?and no one at that office cared about it then and correct me if im wrong but wasnt ur on site police car there parked in front when this stong arm home invasion + robbery happened? lol so thats all im saying.. i had petitions signed when i lived there to show the problems-no response-i called,got fussed at for calling..and then my family ended up being asked to move because of it.so just keep the PR to a min.when other previous tenents might read it and see its not entirly true! the only way to make this a safe place is to have an on site security guard that just walks around it and has a little booth he can sit in and talk with people that walk up or drive up and then,then-- it might be safer!
