Jury selection in the murder trial of Ronald Eugene Smith got underway Monday morning at 9 a.m. in Lamar superior court.

Meanwhile, another alleged killer has a new look and a new court date of her own.

Two people lost their lives, and the only comments people have offered herein, thus far, are jokes about one of the accused's appearance? Sometimes I think we live in a town of mindless, soulless retards.

I feel badly for the families of the victims and the families of the accused. I'm sure this is an unbearably hard time for everyone who has a loved one involved in either of these cases. I wish my fellow posters would think about the mothers, grandmothers, and children of the victims of these crimes, and how their "comments" might affect those people, before they spout off with their mindless hate.

I agree with all of your comments #10. I wish the moderators of this message board would take a tougher stand on these kinds of messages. It cheapens the publication, imo. Hits to the website sell, but who gets hurt in the process? I really don't know where our culture is headed, but I'm pretty sure that it's real hot, there...

I'm not positive, but I think the writer is referring to other inmates possibly "rearranging the face of" and not real beauty treatments. I would love to see a pic of her for clarification!

The inmates in big prisons use pencil lead mixed with I don't know what to craft homemade tattoos.
Maybe she mixed up something like that and is using it for eyeshadow?

that sounds like a threat to the commenter, you better be careful what you say on here they might try to have you arrested for threatening... i have only read what the media portrays about this woman, she took a mans life whether to protect hers or not, she may have been a good person at one point but something made her do what she did, but to leave a person buried alive to die is unheard of, i really hope she has remorse for her actions and realizes that she is losing her life as well, and will never be able to see her kids again either... i pray for both families and that they find closure no matter what the outcome is

If you are indeed her sister, have you stepped up to the plate as far as caring for her 2 (is it 2?) children?
I guess we have forgotten that there are also children here who have lost both parents.
By the way, I'm not the biggest lady around and I'm getting up there in years, so I daresay either you or your "sister" probably could take me in a fight. You certainly have that to be proud of, don't you?
That's not much, in my book, but apparently it matters in yours.

I am her step-daughter the daughter of Donald Clark and she has no sister who ever is on here portraying to be her sister needs to stop or at least not be afraid to admit who you really are, And yes she is so big and bad that she could beat some one up well lets not forget she already has done that to my father in his sleep. Personally I dont care if she has had plastic surgery she will always be an ugly evil person for what she has done. I will be very happy when this is all over and she goes away for life.

I am so sorry to find out the real details of your brothers murder. I was in the same cell with Jennifer in May 2009. I knew the story didn't sound right. At least she could admit to her wrong instead of proclaiming innocence due to fear of Yost. Its never ok to take someones life. And I am truly sorry that your family has to endure such pain on her expense. I am happy to say CONGRADULATIONS to Donald's daughter for moving on slowly but surely & bring life into this world. As a mother of 2 myself I can truly say that having a child is precious. I wish your family all the best & luck :)
