The Lamar County water authority has become another victim of the failing economy. It will have to pull $200,000 out of reserve to pay its Georgia Environmental Facilities Authority loan this year.
"We made it through 2009 but I don't think 2010 is going to be so kind," said general manager Amberly Ferris at the Jan. 26 meeting.
