The Diamond Trojans, after compiling a final season record of 19-7 -- and, making a State Playoff Appearance -- placed 3 players on the first team, 2 players on the second team, and one player was named as honorable mention. Seniors Blane Parker & Calvin Adams -- along with Junior Michael Sneed -- garnered first team honors, while Juniors Trent Nix & T.J. English landed on the second team. The Trojans exited the Class-AA State Baseball Playoffs in the first round on Friday with 10-0, and 11-1 losses at the expense of the powerful Region 6-AA Blessed Trinity Titans in Roswell, Ga. The Diamond Trojans are set to face the region 6-AA Blessed Trinity Titans in the first round of the Class-AA state playoffs on Friday May 8th.

Game times are as follows:

Game 1 - 5 p.m.
Game 2 - 7:30 p.m.
Game 3 - TBD

The series is for the "best two out of three" with the winner advancing to the second round of play.
