Between Saturday, June 20, and Friday, June 26, the Barnesville police department made four arrests:
Deandre Cannon, 1044 Laurel Way Dr., Marietta, shoplifting;
Jerome Giddens, 379 Lakeshore Dr., Stockbridge, no insurance;
Kelly Jackson, 1099 Hwy. 18, Barnesville, DUI and speeding;
Bryce Smith, 202 Washington St., Barnesville, DUI and defective equipment.
Officers answered 99 calls for service including four accidents, nine alarms, 16 building security checks, one burglary, six damage to property, five disturbances, two dog complaints, six domestics, 15 escorts, three fights, one fraud, four harassment, nine miscellaneous, one noise complaint, one shoplifting, 12 suspicious persons/vehicles, one terroristic threat, three thefts and one 911 hang-up. They issued 32 citations including one defective equipment, two disorderly conduct, two DUI, 13 illegal parking, one improper lane change, one no insurance, two seat belt violations, one shoplifting and nine speeding.
