Following the House vote Friday to rush $2 billion into the now-popular but financially strapped Cash for Clunkers car purchase program, regional auto dealers seem optimistic the program will stick around and continue to stimulate the auto sales industry.
"We've done 10 deals through the Cash for Clunkers program. It has drawn a lot of traffic and brought a lot of people in," notes David Sperau, president of Trophy Ford of Forsyth.
