Griffin police officer Chad Moxon, a Lamar County resident, has offered a $500 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those who kidnapped and killed his partner Jimi.
Jimi was a well trained K-9 officer with the Griffin PD.

There has been an addition reward offered by The Atlanta Humane Society of $5,000.00 for any valid tip leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the death of Griffin Police Department K-9 “Jimi”. This is funded by the Holland M. Ware Charitable Fund.

Acting on a tip from a concerned citizen, Milner police chief Jake Sutton was able to arrest an alleged burglar within minutes of his having broken into Greater Spring Hill Baptist Church at 117 Locust Street Monday.
Several pet owners ended the weekend on a discouraging note with the realization that their beloved pets had gone missing.
Missing since Saturday, a gray and white female cat wandered off in the Zebulon Street area. No other details are available but if you may have spotted this cat please contact 770.584.7572.
