Milner police report
During November, the Milner police department logged 317 man hours and patrolled 3578 miles. Officers investigated 12 incidents and three accidents, performed eight EMS assists, performed 65 building security checks and answered 14 miscellaneous calls. They issued 45 warnings and made 69 citations or arrests including 52 speeding, two expired tag, one driving too fast for conditions, one alteration of license plate, three driving with a suspended license, three DUIs, one burglary, one obstruction of an officer and one failure to appear. They made four arrests for other agencies including Griffin, Barnesville and Clayton and Spalding counties.
