Pike deputies - including a SWAT team, volunteer firefighters, agents of the Narcotics Task Force (NTF) and a hazardous materials team were on the scene of a working meth lab at 819 Reid Road Monday night. Driver sought in Piedmont Road hit and run

A man was struck by a hit and run driver at 597 Piedmont Road Wednesday night at approximately 7:50 p.m.

Sheriff's deputies are searching for the assailant who is driving a 1987-1991 Ford F-150. The vehicle is thought to be a light color with primer spots. The truck will show damage on the passenger side from the door to the taillight. It will, however, be missing the taillight as it was damaged in the wreck and left on scene.
