Deputies answered 123 calls and the 911 Center answered 69. Deputies responded to 25 calls, the Barnesville police department to 21 calls, Lamar County firefighters to 22, the Barnesville fire department responded to two and Mid Georgia Ambulance Service responded to 32. During April, the Milner police department logged 309 hours on duty and patrolled 2,724 miles. Officers investigated eight incidents and four accidents, performed 75 building security checks and eight assists and answered 12 miscellaneous calls. They issued 33 warnings and 47 arrests or citations including 22 speeding, three DUI, two failure to yield, two expired tag, two no seat belts, four open containers, three possession of marijuana, two possession of cocaine, one possession of a controlled substance, one defective equipment, two driving without a license, one theft by taking and one driving with a suspended license.
