The Honor Air flight earlier this spring which took World War II veterans to Washington to see the memorial erected in their honor has spun off a new event - Barnesville Remembers. Many veterans could not go on the Washington trip due to age, infirmities or other commitments. That led organizers Mark Stone and Kent Kingsley to host an event here at home for those who had to stay behind. It is set for Saturday, June 12 beginning at 10 a.m. at the Fine Arts Center.
