Another meth lab found; Sealock busted again
Another suspected meth lab has been busted in Lamar County. Four local men, including Larry Bradford Sealock who was nailed in a similar lab just weeks ago, have been arrested.

Murder victim's sister issues pleas for help
Claiming the justice system has failed her family, the sister of murder victim Donna Ogletree Johnson, is pleading with state and federal officials for help in solving the 26-year-old slaying. “We have anxiously stood by and awaited justice from our legal system which has seemingly failed my family and my sister,” Becky Peterman wrote in a letter mailed last week.

Darrin Ray Carter, 43, Owensboro, Ky., driving without a license and speeding;
Jermain Sedric Wilkerson, 28, Forsyth, child support;
Erwin Gabriel Hudson, 34, Barnesville, child support;
Jerez Latuan Watkins, 22, Barnesville, two counts theft by taking;
Winsky Alan Mondestin, 24, Jonesboro, deposit account fraud and financial transaction card theft;
David Watts Sr., 46, Barnesville, warrants pending;
David Watts Jr., 20, Barnesville, warrants pending;
Eddie B. Watts, 58, Barnesville, possession, manufacture, sale or purchase of marijuana;

Deputies answered 149 calls and the 911 center answered 78. Deputies responded to 25 calls, the Barnesville police department responded to 19, the Lamar County fire department to 19 and Mid Georgia ambulance service responded to 41. There were seven accidents. Deputies issued 58 traffic citations and served 13 warrants, and 13 subpoenas or civil papers.

Waltavious Collier, 315 Atlanta St., Barnesville, disorderly conduct;
Clarence Gardner, 796 Brook Rd., Barnesville, DUI and driving while license suspended;
Antonia Smith, 1875 New Orleans Way, McDonough, DUI and failure to maintain lane.
Officers answered 72 calls for service including four accidents, three alarms, 12 building security checks, one crowd control, four damage to property, five disturbances, three domestics, nine escorts, two fraud, one gas drive-off, one harassment, one hit and run, two juvenile complaints, seven miscellaneous, three noise complaints, eight suspicious persons/vehicles, one terroristic threat, four thefts and one welfare check. They issued 16 citations including one disorderly conduct, one driving while license suspended, two DUI, one failure to maintain lane, one failure to stop at stop sign, two possession of alcohol under age and eight speeding.
