Over 80 pack commission meeting to rip fees
Over 80 citizens have packed the Lamar County commission meeting tonight to discuss the controversial and erroneous fire/EMS bills received this week.
Chairman Jay Matthews reported the county has maxed out its $2.4 million line of credit.

Early morning search closes street
During the early morning hours of Tuesday Spalding County Sheriff’s Deputies blocked off a portion of Jackson Road near Bailey Jester Road and turned around all traffic. According to Sheriff Stewart this was done to protect the citizens traveling on that road while the Georgia State Patrol SWAT Team assisted investigators of the Sheriff’s Office with the execution of a search warrant.

3 garlic cloves, minced
1/4 cup (1 ounce) grated fresh Parmesan cheese

Directions:
Preheat oven to 450°.
Place cauliflower in a large roasting pan or jelly-roll pan. Drizzle with oil; toss well to coat. Bake at 450° for 20 minutes or until tender and browned, stirring every 5 minutes. Sprinkle with parsley, thyme, tarragon, and garlic. Bake 5 minutes. Combine cauliflower mixture, cheese, and remaining ingredients in a large bowl; toss well to combine.
