According to figures compiled by the the office of Georgia secretary of state Brian Kemp, Robert Dickey of Musella has won the special election to fill the District 136 seat in the Georgia House of Representatives and no runoff will be needed.

District 136 includes Lamar's Redbone district where Dickey got 59 votes while his fellow Republican Judye Sellier got 33 and Democrat Sharon Howard garnered 5. [Full Story »]
