One person died and another was seriously injured in a crash at the intersection of Hwy. 36 and Country Kitchen Rd. Friday.
UPDATE: Coroner Jim Smith has identified the dead man as David Clemons. Clemons, 73, lived on Steele Road in Milner. The driver of the other car was J. Wesley Smith, 29, who suffered multiple injuries but was released from Upson Regional Medical Center early Saturday morning. [Full Story »]
A one-vehicle accident on Chapel Hill Road in the area of Ellis Circle resulted in yet another fatality, the fourth along the roadway in recent months. A Barnesville man was driving in the one-vehicle fatality and was the only occupant of the car.
