Arrests

During the past two weeks, the Lamar County sheriff’s office made the following arrests:

Henry Contravious Barrett, 19, Griffin, burglary;

Johnny Edgar Stewart, 62, Brooks, DUI alcohol, failure to maintain lane and open container;

Jeremiah Shamall Sullivan, 23, Barnesville, arrested for another agency;

John Roland Graham, 37, Barnesville, arrested for another agency;

Douglas Ronald Browning Jr., 34, Barnesville, headlight violation and driving while license suspended or revoked;

Mallory Diane Pinnell, 18, Americus, consumption or purchase of alcohol under age;

Mary Frances Marlow, 19, Jesup, consumption or purchase of alcohol under age;

Jeremy Brandon Ramer, 23, Bainbridge, contributing to the delinquency of a minor;

Brandon Tyler Day, 18, Oxford, consumption or purchase of alcohol under age;

Connor Louis DeLoach, 18, LaGrange, consumption or purchase of alcohol under age;

Andrew Malcolm Porubiansky, 18, Carrollton, consumption or purchase of alcohol under age;

Xavier Jaquan Hunter, 19, Barnesville, probation violation;

Jesse Slater Faron, 17, no residence given, arrested for another agency;

Joshua Lee Beavers, 31, Barnesville, arrested for another agency;

Sarah Michell Garrison, 36, Jackson, first degree forgery;

Dennis Wayne Carter Jr., 36, no residence given, parole violation;

David Bret Phillips, 27, Barnesville, bench warrant, two counts burglary, theft by taking;

Stefanie Lee Morris, 28, Barnesville, criminal trespass, theft by taking;

Daniel Charles Krost, 45, Barnesville, manufacturing/distribution of drugs, possession of a controlled substance, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, drugs not in original container;

Scott Anthony Davis, 42, Barnesville, child molestation, aggravated child molestation, enticing a child for indecent purposes;

Juan Antonio Garcia, 33, Jonesboro, driving without a license, weaving over roadway;

James Devon McGahee, 19, Barnesville, possession of alcohol underage;

Giovanni Gutierrez, 19, no address given, possession of alcohol underage;

Christopher Neal Stiener, 47, Barnesville, possession/maufacturing of marijuana, drug traffic in cocaine/illegal drugs;

Holly Diana Caswell, 24, Barnesville, simple battery - two counts, DUI/endangering a child;

James Clarence Thomas, 30, Barnesville, probation violation;

Matthew Wayne Scruggs, 29, no address given, probation violation;

Tonya Sunny Loback, 24, Newnan, burglary;

Eddie Bernard Smith, 40, Concord, driving while license suspended, DUI/alcohol;

Jonaquin Antoine Jones, 27, Gainesville, serving jail time;

Cavin Charles Miller, 31, Barnesville, probation violation;

John Alexander Jones, 44, Griffin, failure to appear;

Kyle Matthew Gable, 35, Thomaston, probation violation;

Norman Johnson, 48, Barnesville, deposit account fraud;

Michael W. Love, 41, Barnesville, disorderly conduct.

Deputies answered 150 calls and the 911 center answered 106. Deputies responded to 30 calls, the Barnesville police department to 30, Lamar County firefighters to 32, Barnesville fire department to two and Mid-Georgia Ambulance to 52.

There were 14 accidents. Deputies served three warrants and 24 traffic citations.

Between Saturday, Nov. 5, and Monday, 14 the Barnesville police department made nine arrests:
Frances Watts, 62, 200 Southland Dr., I-4, Barnesville, simple battery;
Michael Obilor, 27, Rockhill Pkwy., Lithia Springs, theft by taking;
Jonah Riley, 17, 1898 Hwy. 36 E. Milner, sale, delivery or distribution of marijuana;
Jamorris Cole, 25, 253 Matthews St., Barnesville, simple battery;
Willie McDowell, 42, 114 Red Oak Dr., Barnesville disorderly conduct;
Donovan Gardner, 20, 1141 Folkston Dr., McDonough, criminal trespass;
Matthew Henderson, 49, 1234 Sunnyside Dr., Griffin, possession of marijuana and giving false name;
Brittany Darty, 20, 253 Matthews St., Barnesville, simple battery;
Lean-Paul Giroux, 17, 330 Atlanta St., Barnesville, sale, delivery or distribution of marijuana;
Officers answered 125 calls for service including four fights, four animal complaints, two thefts, one criminal trespass, two burglary, six domestics, 11 foot patrols, three suspicious persons/vehicles, two speeding, four accidents, four escorts, eight alarms three fires, one damage to property, one harassing phone call, one unwanted person and two wanted or stolen. They issued 26 citations including one possession of less than an ounce of marijuana; one driving while license suspended or revoked, one no license on person, one no insurance, nine speeding, one lane violation, one following too closely, two failure to stop or yield, one light violation, one headlight violation, three simple battery, one giving false name, one disorderly conduct, one criminal trespass and one no through truck. Between Saturday, Oct. 29, and Friday, Nov. 4, the Barnesville police department made three arrests:
Christopher Bishop, 42, 97 W. James Cir., Hampton, disorderly conduct;
Sarina Harmon, 41, 259 Forsyth-Yatesville Rd., Yatesville, disorderly conduct;
Carnell Furlow, 31, 149 Peacock Rd., Barnesville, driving while license suspended or revoked.
Officers answered 63 calls for service including four animal complaints, one theft, two loud music, one open door, three entering an auto, one welfare check, nine domestics, 11 foot patrols, five suspicious persons/vehicles, two suicide attempts, three speeding, two accidents, five escorts, nine alarms, two damage to property, one harassing phone call, one 911 hang-up, and one unwanted person. They issued 15 citations including one driving while license suspended or revoked, one improperly operating a vehicle with a learner’s permit, five speeding, one failure to stop at stop/yield sign, four disorderly houses, one giving false name to officer and two disorderly conduct.
