The Lamar County High School baseball team will host its annual "Meet The Trojan Night" this Saturday at 6 p.m. The event, which will take place at The Gathering Place will cap off a full day of events as the Diamond Trojan middle school, junior varsity and varsity players, who will be determined after a tryout period this week, will have a team breakfast and picture day Saturday morning.

Lamar County Comprehensive High School has released its tentative varsity football schedule for the 2012 season. Trojan head coach Jason Strickland says the schedule will become official once the Georgia High School Association approves the new region alignments.
