The Pike County Pirates sailed into Trojan Field Friday night to do battle with the Lamar County Trojans in the annual Battle of Potato Creek and saw their ship sink in the creek water as the Trojans rolled to a 44-7 win.

The Lamar County Trojans topped the Eagles Landing Golden Eagles Friday night in the home opener at Trojan Field.
