Barbara Hale Gresham Twilley, 88, passed away September 13, 2019. She was the daughter of Jessie Hale and Walter Quinn Gresham of Milner, GA. She earned degrees from GSCW (now Georgia College) in Milledgeville and from Georgia State University, Atlanta, GA and was a retired Cobb County school teacher.
She was a communicant of St. James’ Episcopal Church of Marietta, a member of the Philips Legion chapter of UDC, Smyrna, and the Fielding Lewis chapter of DAR, Marietta. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert F. Twilley, Sr.; her youngest daughter, Jean Shelton Twilley Rodie, of Keller, TX; and her brother, Walter Shelton Gresham. She is survived by daughters, Ann Twilley Henderson (Mick), Virginia Quinn Twilley Aiken (Michael), both of Kennesaw, GA,; her son Robert F. Twilley, Jr., of Marietta; her son-in-law, William Rodie of Keller, TX; grandchildren Jessie Henderson Kidd (Alan) of Ball Ground, GA, Gracie Henderson Yates (Andrew) of Sandersville, GA, Walter Thomas Aiken and George Robert Aiken, both of Kennesaw, Gresham William Rodie and Robert Bennett Rodie, both of Keller, TX; great grandchildren Caleb, Emma, Griffin, and Liam Kidd, and several much-loved nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to Blue Horizons Personal Care Home at 1760 Shillings Road, Kennesaw, GA 30152. Visitation is scheduled for Thursday from 4-7 p.m. at West Cobb Funeral Home in Marietta. A funeral service will be held at 12:00 Friday, September 20 at St. James’ Episcopal Church in Marietta, GA.

Mrs. Tommie Raye Pitts Winzell, age 86, of Barnesville, formerly of Griffin, passed away Friday, September 13, 2019, at Harborview Nursing Home.
Raye was born on Monday, March 20, 1933 to the late Owen Pitts and the late Amelia Loetta Penley Pitts. She was also preceded in death by her husband, James W. Winzell and brother, Earnest Pitts. She was a homemaker and enjoyed watching television.
Raye is survived by her daughter, Diane Coggin; son, Terry Winzell; grandchildren, Stephanie and Mike Williams and Meredith Medina; brother, Richard “Bubba” Pitts; several nieces and nephews.
Visitation for Mrs. Raye Winzell will be held Tuesday, September 17, 2019 from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. A private entombment will follow in Oak Hill Mausoleum.

T.J. loved fishing, bird hunting and had a passion for light construction. He also loved scuba diving and reading. He was a volunteer firefighter and a member of the masons. He was an Eagle Scout who also was awarded the Vigil for the Order of the Arrow. He was a member of the First United Methodist church where he served on the staff pastor relationship committee and the nominating committee. He was preceded in death by his brothers Stanley VanHouten and David VanHouten, as well as his daughter Zackie VanHouten Boen.

Mrs. Wanda Louise Allen Johnson, age 58, of Barnesville, GA passed away on Sunday, September 8, 2019 at her residence.
Wanda was born on Tuesday, February 28, 1961 to the late Roy Allen and the late Jackie Coker. She worked at the Lamar County Tax Commissioners Office as a clerk and attended Rock Springs Church. Wanda loved softball games.
Wanda is survived by her husband of 27 years, Ricky Johnson; children and their spouses, Tiffaney & Dustin Elliott, Destiny & Zach Harmon, Amber & Aubrey Jones, and Lacey Johnson; granddaughter, Ellianna Jones; brothers and sister-in-law, Phillip & Kim Allen and Roy Allen; sister and brother-in-law, Tammy & Sammy Denson; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and numerous friends also survive.
