Accused killer Jennifer Clark spent nearly four hours clowning around in Lamar superior court Feb. 11, apparently unconcerned about the seriousness of the charges against her.

This is the kind of stuff people need to see. It allows them to see the real person rather than a staged make believe attitude. Leave it up for all to see.

It only took 4 hours of pointing the camera at her to get this lovely pic. Quit giving so much attention to her stupidity. Mr. Clarks family deserves to see justice and not games.

My hope is that this jury has the balls that the ronald smith jury lacked and give this methhead the death penalty she deserves! When are people gonna wake up and realize that people like her and that other piece of crap smith not only survive but thrive in prison. Maybe to kill some guard who is only trying to feed their family, and there is the chance of a jail break and it aint that far to the Lamar county line.

We know Walter can't stand anyone charged with a crime, but come on... Is it necessary to put that picture up? Does that particular image lend anything at all to the case the story purportedly covers? Any mature individual can tell it clearly does not. How about a little reporting on what she was in court for, or perhaps about the outcome of whatever the proceedings were? Out of 8 sentences (including the photo caption), 5 were about Clark's behavor in court today, 3 restated previously reported facts, and ZERO contained any substantive information about why she was actually in court today, what's going on with the case, or what might be coming up next with this case. I personally would love to know more about what's actually going on with this case.

It may not be right for the Clark family to see, but since none of them will be on the jury, then the Herald Gazette should post what the community needs to see. And this IS something that should be shown! Now her lawyer can't fool people in court by coaching her on how to "act all prim and proper". Her true colors show here, and that's what people need to see.

It's not that I think Walter is holding out anything. It just seems like the focus of the reporting could be more appropriately placed. If he was only there to cover the "beauty treatment" story (which I sincerely doubt), then he would have made some comment on her appearance (which he did not). The article was clearly about her antics in the courtroom that day. And as to mug shots being flattering... the pic in the article isn't a mugshot, but a mugshot picture would have been far more appropriate.
I, as do many other people in this community, rely on the local newspaper to cover and report on many of the proceedings that occur in our local government. The point of my original comment was that I wish the article contained more information about the facts and status of the case.

I don't disagree with you. The reporting was lacking in substance, AND the picture and article were published with the intent to dispariage the accused rather than to further any legitimate journalistic purpose.

I don't care if she has to sit her butt in an uncomfortable chair for 12 hours with her pink handcuffs and goofy orange jumpsuit. It's not costing me as a taxpayer a dime.
And if a camera in her face upset her and caused her to act the fool, it's lots less painful than a bat in the head.

What a waste of tax dollars to have to deal with the likes of this person. I can assure you this is not a new behavior for her. She was probably an unruly kid and her bad behaviors just escalated throughout her life. She absolutely shows no remorse for her actions. She thinks she is cute; however, her actions are anything but cute. She has no respect for authority and the judge just needs to throw her out of the courtroom the next time she pulls one of these stunts. Maybe she will realize she is not invincible when the doors slam behind her and she is facing the death penalty.

The picture speaks volumes about her opinion of the rest of mankind. There are more self-centered nut cases and play actors walking around in the world than some might imagine. She just happens to be one who went too far and got caught. Others just hold it in the road enough to pass off as normal caring sensitive people, then they go home and kick the dog or beat the wife and blame the wife or dog for asking for the beating.

The Judge should have removed her from the court room, I know

Maybe the Judge didn't have no choice, NO place to put her, the Sheriff even tried to hide her From the Picture snapping Reporter. It was very obvious by the coats in the chair,Talk about violating her constitutional right's, And yes she still has them. Sorry thats not the way the justice system works,It's call Innocent till Proven Guilty.Not the other way around.Or are you so blinded by the Biased and unfair reporting.If the picture hurt the Family. Why are they there it wasn't anything important anyway's?

i am so glad that you think donald is not important enough for his family to be in court on any action that involves this case. just because you don't seem to think your family is important enough to love and care about does not mean ours is not. we happen to love our family and want to see justice done

One thing about this picture. It will make it difficult for an attorney to convince a jury she has remorse for her actions, provided the Jury is made aware of this picture.

Jennifer needs to be doing hard labor instead of sitting and horse playing. Put her on back of a garbage truck with a shot gun pointed at her and feed her some green meat from the truck. It is a shame that in order for me to keep up with this case I have to read the comments. I have little info from the media.Nevertheless, Jen and Donald are frieds of mine and along with the families I am devestated!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My heart is breaking for the children. For the record,I never new of Jen using meth or any other drug for that matter. However, I no longer live in ga. therefore, anything is possible. The children have already lost their father,putting their mother to death would be another traumatic thing for them to endure.I am furios at her not only for what she is being acused of but, for her disgusting and imature behavior in the court room.

amber clark is a strong and wonderful young woman who copes every damn day with what happened to her dad.she has children he will never watch grown up.if i knew i could catch a charge and end up in her cell. i would drive from florida to do it.i have followed this and kept in touch with amber since i moved back to fla. my sister in law was 21 and murdered and raped for 4 days in a georgia hotel by 2 men and i think these sorry basteard should be put in the room with the family members and let them reenact their death.
