Jennifer Clark and Kenneth Michael Yost have confessed to firsthand knowledge of the killing of Donald Clark but each is trying to blame the actual murder on the other.

Unless everyone wants Barnesville to become another avenue for crime, the DA needs to actually make an exampe out of what to expect when you commit murder in Barnesville. Just because they confess doesn't mean they should get off with a light sentence. Remember this was not a petty crime. It was a top of the list crime and should deliver a top of the list punishment.
Making a confession to this horrible crime does not make anything any better. It was quite obvious all along that this pair murdered Donald. I hope and pray that the punishment they receive will cause the maximum amount of suffering a judge and jury can give them. I pray each day for this family. Donald was a good man!
In Loving Memory
Sometimes we take for granted
What we think we’ll never lose
We never thought it’d happen
‘till we heard the dreaded news
We didn’t know that morning
God had called our daddy’s name
In life we loved you dearly and
In death we do the same
It broke our hearts to lose you
Though you did not go alone
For a part of us went with you,Dad
The night you left our home
A golden heart stopped beating
Now @ peace your soul may rest
With this we are reminded that
God only takes the best
Goodbye is never easy
It’s the hardest thing to do
But taken from us was the chance
To say those words to you
So today if you are listening
From your new home in the sky
We both want you to know,Daddy –
We Love you and Goodbye!

OMG PEOPLE WAKE THE HELL UP.SCREW WHETHER THEY HAVE THE MONEY TO GO FOR THE DEATH PENALTY.THERE IS NO AMOUNT OF MONEY THAT WILL EASE THE PAIN HIS FAMILY FEELS EVERYDAY.IF YOU DONT GO FOR THE DEATH PENALTY YOU ARE TELLING PEOPLE TO COME TO LAMAR COUNTY TO COMMIT MURDER CAUSE THEY WONT SPEND THE MONEY FOR A DEATH PENALTY TRIAL,THEY CANT AFFORD IT.GET OVER IT PEOPLE AND STOP BEING SO DAMN LAZY AND GET THIS FAMILY THE JUSTICE THEY SO DESPERATLEY DESERVE.HOW WOULD YOU FEEL IF IT WERE YOUR FAMILY?SO MANY DAMN EXCUSES....
I wonder if you are aware that Jennifer and Michael has an infant son. If both get the death penalty, then their son will never know them. He is an innocent. Don't get me wrong, I believe both should be punished for their crime. Acutally, I believe the one who swung the bat (Jennifer) should get the maximum. Michael should have used his common sense and gone to the police once he found out that Donald was dead.
And what about the families of Jennifer and Michael. Has any thought gone to them for the possibility of the death penalty that Jennifer and Michael might get? I don't think so. I've read all the comments on all the stores, and I've not seen once anyone have any sympathy for them. I grive for all the families.
This is just a sad story, but the accessory to the crime should get just as much as the actual perp who committed it. Sorry for the infant, but he/she will be better off without either one of these distorted people in their life. Michael could have easily went to the police, but decided to do the wrong thing when given the choice, this is where he made his mistake and put his life on the line. And while she swung the bat it was premeditated on both or their parts and there was a plan set in place as we will all find out that it was planned out by both and not a random act of passion that caused this death, but a horrible thoughtout plan of murder and cover-up. You can grive or grieve, whichever you chose for all of the families, but the fact is he had a choice and didn't do the right thing and had many opportunities to do so.
You are right about that.... so why put the children, later in life, through additional needless pain by killing their mother. Don't forget the child yet to be born...It may be both it's parents who gets the needle. What an insane world we live in and we believe we set the example for other nations to follow. If we are a Christian nation as so many seem to think...What would be his answer to such a situation? Would causing futher suffering the wisest solution?
THERE YOU GO AGAIN BLAMEING HER AGAIN AND NOT HIM ,AGAIN I ASK WERE YOU THERE WHEN IT HAPPENED IF YOU WERENT THEN YOU SURE AS HELL DONT KNOW WHAT THE HECK HAPPENED YOU ARE ONLY HEARING ONE SIDE SO GET A LIFE, SO UNLESS YOU WERE THERE THERE YOU ARE JUST AS GUILTY AS THEY ARE????
I just pray that the past administration didnt screw things up, which of course will make it very difficult for the DA....It would also be a way to try and make the current sheriff look bad. Maybe the past adm didnt go out as quietly as they want everyone to think.
I find it interesting that so many seem to claim they know what was going on in the mind of those who committed this tragity. In my own way of thinking it would take a person really screwed up in the head to do such a thing. To be living in a reality to think that one could actually get away with something so horrific tells me that their level of rationalization was completely out of touch.
We have so many people walking all around us in everyday life that are so completely hose up between the ears that it's a wonder we don't have even more violent crimes than we do. I wonder what's cheaper....the availability of affortable mental health care or just lock everyone up who loses it. As much guilt, shame, fear and self-condemnation peddled by the local churches its a wonder things are worse than they are.
I just read about the death of the baby boy that Jennifer Clark had. Can anyone tell me what happened? I didn't see any mention of it on the website except for the obituary.
As for the murder of Donald Clark, I pray that the police officers and everyone involved did everything by the book because those that are involved need to be tried by a jury of their peers and sentenced for their crimes. Donald did not deserve to die, and those two people need to pay for the suffering they caused.
I pray that we choose the solutions that provides the most healing for "everybody" involved. Everbody throws around the word "Justice" as if it is answer that will resolve all what has happened. Justice is just an illision because it won't bring any one back from the dead. It won't ease the pain caused by all what has happened. It won't allow us to move forward in our lives because everytime our mind returns to this nighmare we will know that people died that shouldn't have and what a needless waste. The word justice is just another word we use for revenge, condemnation, punishment or lacking the real answer. When are we going to stop pulling the same ole fearful ideology out of the old testiments and start living our lives from the real truths found in the gospels.
If you do the crime....there is NO excuse. Let's all stop trying to "feel sorry" for these two. They are evil individuals. There was always the door! Killing someone shouldn't even be an option. Children are better off without parents like these two! Come on.....let's go back to our scriptures!
