American Legion post celebrates 95th birthday

The Martin-Moore Post of the American Legion will celebrate its 91st birthday with a covered dish luncheon Wednesday, March 10 at the Women’s Clubhouse.

Will the club be open that night to continue the celebration? Thats all the post is known for now, so might as well.

Since this is on a Wednesday I'm guessing no. So, everyone be there the following night for the second part of the celebration! Way to carry on the long history of the post!

I was the Commander for the American Legion Post for the last 3 years and now We have a new CommanderMr.Alferd Langham, from Thomaston. I don't know where you got all your idea about The American Legion. We don't have a American Legion Home and are meeting at the Garden Patch on the last Thursday of each month
We don't have a bar , bingo or any of those thing. We meet to help the community.

Mr. West maybe you can close the club down on Roberts Road which gives the American Legion a real bad name!

I am sorry , eash post is charter from national Hq. and they would have to take steps to do that It is not our goul to cause any of our post problem. If you wish, you can write, call or go to the Georgia American Legion Headquarters 3035 Mt.
