The week is spring break so no students will be there the whole week anyway.

They all took off on 1 day instead of breaking
it down day by day, like everyone else does...
Start saving money instead of spending like

Closing saves money on utilities, gas,etc. Think before you write.

Think before you write. The poster was simply stating that instead of taking furloughs throughout the year as half days like the LC Schools, they are taking a full day, therefore saving more money on utilities, gas, ect., like you said.
Really wasnt that complicated to figure out.

Sure they have cut off all utilites---no lights on - no furnace going. Telephone bill
stays the same 29 days or 30 days.
