Compassion alone isn't enough

Around 3 a.m. last night, a physician was attacked by a group of armed men in the parking lot of a Savannah hospital.

The men seized the doctor by her lapel and forced her to give medical treatment to a member of their "gang." Before they left, they stole money from the doctor's wallet - money she had saved for paying back her six-digit student loan.

Well said.
However, the mask of compassion that those politicians wear is just that, “a mask”.

Don’t be fooled by it. The use of false compassion is a ploy to gain more political power.

The federal government now has the power to confiscate your money and dictate life style. This is unprecedented in America.

The lefts next effort to consolidate power will be immigration reform.

God help us!

And you can bet immagration reform has nothing
to do with "compassion" from the Dems,
but everything to do with bringing a voting block of millions their way.

So "compassion" is a ploy for Democrats? What about using Jesus and religion, fear and the false idea of 'less government' by the Republicans to win votes? The very people that brought us the Iraq war and the Patriot Act.

What a load of horse manure. If this is even true or not the gang kidnapped the Doctor because if they went to the hospital they would more than likely been arrested. She was robed, and assaulted and kidnapped and the local law enforcement can do something about that. To equate this incident to the recent health care legislation is just another right wing stretch of the imagination in an effort to turn folks against what will prove to serve them well in the future. It makes me wonder why this kind of garbage is put on this web site when all it does is to bring its own credibility into question.

This is funny. I live in Savannah and I noticed that the HOSPITAL isn't listed. We have 3 major hospitals listed. If they robbed her then there would have been something they could do. Also the hospitals have security roaming the parking lots and grounds. Also I have not heard any of this on the news that anything negative that happens on hospital property makes the Local Savannah news. So this story is a load of crap. According to friends who work at the hospital there hasn't been an assault, robbery or kidnapping lately.

I am also against the health care reform. Parts of it are a great idea put parts of it need more work. The Education of our children should take front seat to health care reform.
