Enterprise Propane Terminals & Storage, the firm that owns the huge troubled gas cavern north of Milner that sprung a leak last fall, has bought out one neighbor for a price that other nearby land owners think is exorbitant and has them looking for checks of their own.
No amount of money is worth the harm that these people might have been exposed to for years and years. 90% of the houses nearby (excluding bedsoles) have been there for years and years beside this tank when it was full! We all know when it was put there that things weren't even as environmentally safe as they are now! The trains coming through right beside it had to be a damaging effect too! I live near tracks and my whole house shakes when one comes through. They know something! Walter, who performed the tests last year? Someone they suggested? It's a 10 billion per year industry! I sure hope these people hold out for way more than what this guy got! Forget the fact that it is commercial land.. Mom and pop's along Georgia's Scenic route dont exsist anymore! Before that land becomes valuable as "Commercial Property" other areas near there will have been booming for decades! I say make me give you enough to pay for future medical and lifethreatening illnesses and get the heck out of there!
