Senior right fielder Ben Cone hit a bases loaded triple to break a one-all tie in the sixth inning to help propel Lamar County to a 7-3 win over Crawford County in Region 5AA baseball Tuesday at Aldora Field.

Can high schoolers have full beards? Isn't there some sort of dress code? Doesn't look appropriate for a high school ball player.

Each coach has his own set of team rules. I'm sure if facial hair were against the rules, this young man wouldn't have it. Why does there have to be someone with something negative to say about everything? Bottom line is, the Trojans won and this young man was a hero. Bearded or balded, I'm proud of him/them.

You're one of the problems with our schools these days. Ben's got good grades, stays out of trouble, and is an amazing player for his school's baseball team and you're complaining about his beard?

Give me a break, seriously some people will find anything to complain about. The dress code is much more relaxed now than when I attended Lamar High and oh yeah, I sported a goatee most of the time in high school and graduated with honors. Good job Ben and way to go Trojans!

Gee-Whiz! You've just got too much time on your hands, poster #2. Ben Cone is a polite, well-mannered young man. He is, also, well groomed, and a pretty doggone good baseball player to boot.

I have a 16 year old with a full beard and hair halfway down his back... he makes A's and never has been in any kind of trouble...ever...I think I will pi$$ him off, make him shave and cut that hair... yeah, thats what I will do... Your post number fits you well #2
